Akina Nakamori [中森明菜] – BLONDE (1987) 🖤🎞️ | Stage Mix • Rare Footage

A new visual journey through Akina Nakamori's iconic BLONDE, originally released in 1987. This alternative Stage Mix is a fan-made music video carefully edited from a selection of rare, lesser-seen and archival television performances of the song. Rather than simply presenting individual live appearances, this project brings together different performances, camera angles, costumes and stage designs into a continuous visual montage, offering a fresh perspective on one of Akina's most fascinating musical eras. From the mysterious elegance of her black outfits and hypnotic stage settings to more colorful, theatrical performances, these archival images reveal the remarkable diversity of her interpretations of BLONDE. Some of these recordings are less familiar than the performances most frequently shared online. Bringing them together is also a way of rediscovering overlooked moments and preserving the visual richness of Japanese television performances from the late 1980s. Following my previous BLONDE Stage Mix, this alternative edition explores a different selection of footage, with new editing choices and visual transitions. The music remains the same, but the images tell another story. A personal tribute to Akina Nakamori, her unmistakable stage presence and the beauty of these precious television archives.
