This trip is extra special because it is my wife and my **first long road trip after marriage**, and we are travelling with a total of 5 people. We leave Hamirpur at 11 PM and drive through **Manali, Atal Tunnel, Tandi, Keylong, Darcha, Jispa, Baralacha La, Sarchu and finally towards Leh**. But this was definitely not an easy drive! We experienced: 🚗 555+ KM of driving 🏔️ Extreme high-altitude roads 😮 Low oxygen levels ❄️ Glaciers and snow for the first time ⛽ Fuel availability issues in the mountains 🛣️ Narrow and dangerous roads 🚛 Heavy trucks and buses on single-lane roads 😱 The challenging Gata Loops 🌄 Mars-like landscapes 🏔️ Baralacha La & Suraj Tal 🏥 An emergency situation due to low oxygen ❤️ And finally… WELCOME TO LEH LADAKH! One of the craziest parts of this journey was experiencing how quickly the landscape, altitude, roads and oxygen levels changed. We also tested portable oxygen during the journey and had to deal with a genuine health scare before reaching Leh. The *Taigun GT Plus* also went through some seriously challenging terrain, from smooth highways to broken mountain roads, narrow tracks and high-altitude passes. This is a completely raw road-trip experience, with all the fun, excitement, challenges, beautiful views and unexpected moments along the way.
