They Disrespected Her Aim Until a Rogue Sniper Appeared

During the final field evaluation of the Tier IV Precision Engagement Certification in the Allegheny Mountains, Staff Sergeant Dara Novak faced skepticism from senior evaluators, including legendary Delta Force Master Sergeant Walt Pruitt. Pruitt dismissed her meticulous, hand-crafted gear and environmental calculations as unnecessary deviations from standard doctrine. What neither knew was that the facility was already compromised. Owen Cassidy, a former Chief Warrant Officer who mapped the very terrain and sensor perimeter, had slipped inside with a CheyTac M200. Blaming military bureaucracy for the deaths of four Rangers at Foxtrot Ridge—including Dara's own brother—Cassidy lay waiting in a narrow ravine to assassinate an incoming VIP helicopter. When high-tech FLIR thermals failed to detect the ambush, only Dara’s patient reading of the mountain's dead-air pocket could find the target. At 880 yards, with zero wind hold and a heavy truth unfolding behind her scope, she had one shot to rewrite the narrative of revenge and deliver true justice.
