Alapana in Raga Karaharapriya by GN Balasubramaniam

I've heard many people say that GNB did not handle Karaharapriya because his contemporary Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer handled it very often. I however think this is unlikely. It came to my notice, through a GNB fanatic, that he used to sing Pakkala Nilabadi (Thyagaraja) very often in the 40s. Later I found out that GNB used to refresh his repertoire every 10 years. This made sense because after the 50s he barely sang Karaharapriya. Here is a short alapana in Karaharapriya by the legend that shows us a small glimpse of what the raga was in his brillant world of thoughts.
