What He Said! | John 7:43-46 | September 27, 2026 In John 7, the temple officers were sent to arrest Jesus, but they returned empty-handed with a powerful testimony: "No man ever spoke like this Man!" - John 7:46 Their response reminds us of a simple phrase we still use today: "What he said!" When someone speaks so clearly and truthfully that all we can do is agree. In this message, we explore the difference between religion and a relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion can become like an abandoned building slowly reclaimed by nature. Without the life-changing work of Christ, our old sinful nature begins to take over. The world may be full of beliefs, traditions, and rituals, but none of those can replace knowing Jesus personally. As Jesus entered a religious culture that had drifted from God's heart, He challenged traditions, exposed hypocrisy, and called people back to the Father. Some believed. Others rejected Him. The division that existed then still exists today.
