JOWEL JOMARSUS GATUS - Poong Jesús Nazareno Holy Mass Today LIVE, Wednesday, October 28, 2026 Banal na Misa Ngayong Araw LIVE, Miyerkules, Oktubre 28, 2026 Miyerkules, Oktubre 28, 2026 Wednesday, October 28, 2026 Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles Prayer of the Day Heavenly Father, today I thank You for calling ordinary people to become witnesses of Your extraordinary love. Through Saints Simon and Jude, remind me that I do not need fame, influence, or exceptional talents to serve You faithfully. You know my abilities, my limitations, and the circumstances of my life. Help me offer everything I have with a willing and humble heart. Lord Jesus, before choosing Your Apostles, You spent the night in prayer. Teach me to seek the Father's wisdom before making important decisions. When I feel pressured to act quickly, help me pause and listen. When several paths lie before me, give me discernment to recognize the one that leads toward truth, goodness, and faithful service. The Apostles were different people, each with a particular character and history, yet You called them to follow You and become part of one mission. Help me appreciate the gifts of those around me instead of comparing myself with them. Free me from jealousy when another person receives recognition, and from insecurity when my own work seems unnoticed. I pray for the unity of Your Church. Strengthen the Holy Father, bishops, priests, deacons, religious communities, catechists, and laypeople who dedicate their lives to sharing the Gospel. Help us remain united in Christ even when we disagree about secondary matters. Teach us to listen with respect, speak with charity, and work together for those who are poor, vulnerable, or forgotten. I also remember people who feel insignificant or believe their lives have little purpose. Encourage those whose contributions are rarely acknowledged, those who serve quietly within their families, and those who continue doing good without receiving thanks. Remind them that no sincere act of love is too small in Your eyes. Father, make me dependable in the responsibilities You have entrusted to me. Give me courage to share my faith through my actions, not only through my words. When I become tired or uncertain, remind me that You are the foundation upon which my life can stand securely. May the example of Saints Simon and Jude strengthen my faith, deepen my commitment, and inspire me to serve You faithfully alongside others. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
