Originally from Beirut, Dr. Dina completed her training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University. In 1991, she moved to Dubai and became the first pediatric dentist and the first U.S.-trained, American Board Certified Pediatric Dentist to practice in the country. Throughout her career, Dr. Dina has helped shape pediatric dental care in the UAE, working with institutions including the Ministry of Health, Dubai Health Authority, and Dubai Healthcare City. She has also trained thousands of dentists in providing dental care for children and adolescents. In 2008, Dr. Dina introduced a myofunctional approach to interceptive growth modification, pediatric sleep apnea, mouth breathing, snoring, and teeth grinding in Dubai. She continues to focus on these areas today and operates the only licensed Myobrace practice in the city. Dr. Dina is currently the President of the Emirates Pediatric Dentistry Club and practices at the Dr. Dina Pediatric Dentistry Center in Jumeirah.
