Hiking Alishan: Sunrise, Abandoned Railway Tunnels & Tea Gardens

We spent a few days around Alishan exploring as much as we could: sunrise above the clouds, long forest hikes, the abandoned railway tunnels on the Mianyue Line, and the tea gardens around the Shizhuo village. A mix of early mornings, steep trails, busy travel days, and some of the best views we had in Taiwan. You may either follow the railway tracks or keep hiking on the Tashan Trail, which means taking the stairs up and down. Please do not solely rely on the information here and also refer to the signs in the park.
