CORONA SHOO SHOO - /short film about Ivo Dimchev/ by Kristina Nikolova

Corona Shoo Shoo - 5 min documentary about Ivo Dimchev and his private concerts during the lockdown. Directed by Kristina Nikolova Camera - Alexander Stanishev Additional camera: Ivan Nikolov, Anton Dimitrachkov From the filmmaker, Kristina Nikolova “I am a Bulgarian-born filmmaker, living in NYC. In March as we fled our home, I saw that my brilliant friend, performance artist and musician Ivo Dimchev was doing the very opposite - rejecting virtual zoom concerts and live streams and announcing an “at home concert quarantine” tour in his hometown of Sofia, Bulgaria, while keeping social distancing measures and precautions. Ivo invented a new way to connect with his audience and contribute to its well-being with what could be considered essential for the mental health of everyone - music. Ivo is HIV positive, gay, and somewhat controversial, but highly acclaimed contemporary artist. His voice, courageous spirit and the joy he brings to those who invite him into their homes reminded me of an angel visiting people and bringing them a breath of relief and light amid the crisis and uncertainty. Thus I asked to follow him on this incredible journey.” Kristina Nikolova Dalio https://www.instagram.com/kpucu6/?hl=en https://vimeo.com/418468406 www.kristinanikolova.com Ivo Dimchev   / ivo_dimchev     / ivodimchevmusic   spotify:artist:0jL6AIk96ph9mP3BQqqegV https://open.spotify.com/artist/0jL6A... ...........
