Retired IPS officer and former Intelligence DG AB Venkateswara Rao expressed anger at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son and Minister Nara Lokesh, questioning whether people should perform “milk abhishekams” for him while the farmers of Navuluru are allegedly losing their properties and running from pillar to post for justice. Speaking to the media after personally looking into the problems of the Navuluru farmers, Venkateswara Rao questioned, “Do you want a milk abhishekam while taking away people’s properties in Amaravati?” He also claimed that people feel the previous YS Jagan government was 100 times better than the present administration. According to him, the 30-acre parcel in Survey No. 774 in Navuluru village has a history spanning more than a century. He said the 1907 RSR (Resurvey Register) prepared during British rule identified the land as a tank. In 1913, the same land was divided into six survey numbers and classified as land suitable for agriculture. He said that around 1923–25, the land was assigned to several individuals in plots of about 1.5 to 2 acres each. Over the following century, the properties changed hands several times. Venkateswara Rao alleged that after the Chandrababu government came to power in 2024, the Guntur Collector handed over these 30 acres to the CRDA. When the affected farmers submitted petitions to the Collector, they were allegedly told that the land had been “donated” to the CRDA and was government land. He further alleged that when the farmers filed a grievance through PGRS, they were told that a response had to come from the CRDA, while the authorities had nevertheless marked their petitions as resolved. Questioning the move, he asked whether land involved in a court dispute could be taken away in the name of developing the capital. He also questioned whether the government did not have a responsibility to provide compensation to people who have legitimate property rights. He said one affected person had been forced to approach the High Court again even for a 200-square-yard plot, calling it an example of what is happening in Lokesh’s constituency. #ABVenkateswaraRao #NaraLokesh #Chandrababu #Amaravati #ysjagan #ysrcp #megadsc #NavuluruFarmers #dvsrinivas #thinkandhra For More Updates Follow Us On : Facebook :   / thinkandhraofficial   Twitter : https://x.com/think_andhra Instagram :   / thinkandhra   WhatsApp : https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vazn...
