Vladimir Duthiers | I Am That Reporter with Jericka Duncan

This month on I Am That Reporter, I sit down with my dear friend and colleague Vladimir Duthiers a featured host on ‪@CBSMornings‬ whose work you've likely seen across the network — from the ‪@CBSEveningNews‬, ‪@48hours‬ and the CBS streaming platform, 24/7. Vladimir has built a career reporting on a remarkably wide range of stories, but his path to journalism wasn't a straight line — he spent years working in finance before making the leap. His first major assignment threw him straight into the deep end: covering the devastating earthquake in Haiti. From there, he spent three years reporting out of Nigeria for CNN before eventually landing at CBS News, where he's now spent more than a decade. And that's just the newsroom side of him. He's a husband, a father to a toddler and in his free time he plays in a band. In this conversation, we go beyond the resume — talking candidly about how he broke into the industry, the stories that shaped him, and his honest take on the future of network television. This is a conversation you want to hear in its entirety. Like and subscribe and share, share, share!
