Tre DeVaughn feat. Devion - Close To Me

'Close To Me' is a smooth, intimate R&B record built around one of love’s simplest desires: to be close to someone who makes you feel completely alive. Tre DeVaughn delivers the song with a warmth that feels both sensual and sincere, while Devion adds another dimension to the record’s emotional atmosphere. Rather than portraying intimacy as something purely physical, the song explores closeness as a state of emotional freedom — that rare space where two people can stop performing, stop pretending, and simply exist together. The recurring invitation to stay close becomes more than a romantic request. It represents the comfort of being present with someone who quiets the outside world. The lyrics move through touch, eye contact, rhythm and vulnerability, gradually revealing that the deepest form of intimacy isn't necessarily found in what two people do, but in how safe they feel being completely themselves with one another. The bridge takes that idea even deeper, suggesting that real connection exists beyond physical attraction. Love becomes something internal — something rooted in the soul rather than appearance. The line between sensuality and emotional intimacy begins to disappear, leaving only two people, one moment, and the feeling that they don't need to hide. Musically, 'Close To Me' carries the spirit of classic 90s R&B: smooth melodies, layered background vocals, spacious arrangements, a memorable call-and-response hook. At its core, 'Close To Me' is about presence. Not tomorrow. Not yesterday. Not what the world expects. Just this moment. Two people. One connection. https://open.spotify.com/artist/6tHMV...   / alxndr_iv_productions     / 1jvrx6xpnj   #Oldschool #Soul #Music #90s #BlackMusic #SlowJam #rnb #Vibe #Banger #Soulmusic #Blackmusic #Passion #alxndrivproductions
