Discovering Slovenia: Bohinj, Vogel and Lake Bled

In this video, I’ll be exploring some of Slovenia’s most notable natural attractions, beginning with Lake Bohinj, the country’s largest glacial lake, known for its pristine environment and tranquil setting within the Julian Alps. We’ll also be visiting Vogel Ski Resort, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range and a unique vantage point overlooking Lake Bohinj. Finally, the journey brings us to Lake Bled, one of Slovenia’s most iconic destinations, recognised for its distinctive island, emerald waters, and picturesque alpine backdrop. Overlooking the lake is Bled Castle, which adds a striking historic presence to the landscape and offers an impressive vantage point with sweeping views across Lake Bled.
