This performance was recorded live at Christ Church, Mapo, Ibadan Nigeria on 25th May 2019 in during a concert tagged "Ayo" in honor of Dr. Ayo Oluranti and his compositions. Olorun Betel( Composed in 2017) This work is based on the hymn, ' O God of Bethel by whose hand' written by Philip Doddridge. It is essentially a unison song, with harmony occurring twice to fulfil structural roles. Similar to how a theme is presented and developed in an instrumental piece, texts are presented as theme/motif in this work. Development is defined by text expansion and addition.
