Sejak kecil manusia telah terbiasa menginginkan apa yang kelihatan entah itu uang, barang, dan berbagai kenikmatan lain yang menjadi kebahagiaan. Tetapi sampai tua, belum juga puas atau sampai mencapai kebahagiaan yang sempurna itu. Karena sesungguhnya kebahagiaan yang sempurna adalah Tuhan. Kita sering kali cemburu melihat orang yang tidak mencari Tuhan tetapi hidupnya terasa nyaman, bahagia, diberkati secara finansial sedang kita yang mencari Tuhan hidup terseok-seok, menderita. Hal ini Tuhan ijinkan agar kita melihat dan merasakan bahwa Tuhan kebahagiaan kita dan tidak menggantikannya karena kebahagiaan dunia yang fana.
