The Inami Yoiyasa Festival is held on May 3rd every year at Inami Hachimangu Shrine. The festival began in 1833 as a Shinto ritual to pray for prosperous business and family safety. There are 3 types of portable shrines carried by adults, and a total of 6 portable shrines, including children's portable shrines, parade through the town, enlivening the town with 3 lions and 4 floats. This year, the "Hana Mikoshi" carried only by women enlivened the town.
