Trying To Make It Happen : Buying Land In Cambodia

I'm trying to make it happen. After deciding that I want to secure a piece of land in Cambodia for my future the reality of making it happen turns out to involve a lot more than simply finding a piece of land I like. Over several days I'm driving around Siem Reap dealing with paperwork ,visiting offices , chasing information and trying to get everything organised so the process can move forward. There are plenty of moments when I wonder whether I'm doing the right thing. This my experience and journey of buying land in Cambodia. I'm trying to make something I've been thinking about for a long time to become a reality. The long term idea is simple : a small off grid home, solar power, water, food ,ducks ,our cat Strawberry and a much lower cost of living as I get older . Whether I can make this happen is another story, so come along and see if I can :) For now I'm just taking it one step at a time.
