I dealt 15 damage in one explosive attack—but Thor still found a way to defeat my Boros Quest Deck! ⚡🔥 This match continues my completely Free-to-Play MTG Arena journey and follows one important channel rule: ❌ Lose a match 🔓 Unlock one booster pack 🎁 Open the pack after the game 🛠️ Use the new cards and Wildcards to improve my collection I recorded this match while parked in my car, so the cellular connection caused occasional response delays. 🚗📱 Going first, I cracked my fetch land for the mana I needed—but immediately realized that I had missequenced my opening turn by failing to cast my one-drop Hobgoblin. Once the Hobgoblin entered the battlefield, its Captain America shield-style ability helped tap down potential blockers. I continued buffing my creatures and applying aggressive pressure while my opponent used direct damage to control my board. 🛡️ Then came the biggest moment: I stacked multiple combat tricks onto an unblocked attacker and delivered 15 damage in a single turn, dropping my opponent all the way to 5 life! 💥 Unfortunately, my opponent removed my main attacker and deployed Thor—a massive legendary flying threat. Without instant-speed removal or a Reach creature available, I had no way to stop him. The defeat moves this Quest Deck run to 0–2, but according to my channel rules, the loss unlocked another booster pack. Inside, I found a valuable Rare Wildcard that can eventually help me craft a stronger answer for threats like Thor! 🎁✨ The pack also contained Green and White cards featuring Reach and Amass abilities, giving me more possible tools for future deck builds.
