A fresh visit to the pretty seaside resort of West Bay, which is located on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset! West Bay, originally known as Bridport Harbour, is a small harbour settlement and resort on the English Channel coast in Dorset, England, sited at the mouth of the River Brit approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Bridport. The area is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. West Bay is also well known for being used a filming location, the beach was used in the introduction to the BBC television series The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, and for location filming in the television series Harbour Lights. The town, harbour, and beach were also used as locations in The Navy Lark and the 2013 ITV series Broadchurch.
