the biggest scam in gaming...

NBA 2K25 is being delisted and its servers are shutting down — continuing a cycle that has seen NBA 2K15, NBA 2K16, NBA 2K17 and other older NBA 2K games lose their online features after just a few years. But now, NBA 2K revival projects are fighting back. For years, NBA 2K has operated on a simple cycle: release a new game, move the community to the latest NBA 2K, and eventually shut down the servers for older games. Once those servers go offline, players can lose access to MyCAREER, MyTEAM, online progression and other features they spent years building. NBA 2K25 is the latest example. After only a couple of years, the game is being delisted, while its online services are being sunset. And if you've played older games like NBA 2K15, NBA 2K16 or NBA 2K17, you already know what happens next. But something is changing. NBA 2K15, NBA 2K16, NBA 2K17, NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20 are being brought back through community-driven NBA 2K revival projects, private servers and game preservation efforts. Players are finding ways to experience older versions of NBA 2K again instead of simply accepting that a game they purchased has to disappear when 2K shuts down its servers. With AI making it easier for independent developers and gaming communities to create launchers, servers and tools, game preservation could become an even bigger part of the future. If one project gets shut down, another can potentially emerge. This raises a much bigger question: *Do you actually own the NBA 2K game you purchased, or are you essentially renting it until 2K decides to shut down the servers?* The NBA 2K community has already started answering that question. This video covers the NBA 2K25 shutdown, NBA 2K25 delisting, NBA 2K server shutdowns, NBA 2K15 revival, NBA 2K16 revival, NBA 2K17 revival projects, old NBA 2K servers, game preservation and the growing movement to keep older NBA 2K games playable. If you're a fan of NBA 2K15, NBA 2K16, NBA 2K17, NBA 2K19, NBA 2K20 or classic NBA 2K in general, this is something you should be paying attention to.
