New Kontakt Drum Instrument Available - https://www.rsdrums.com/monarch Drum Samples, Drum Transcriptions, and more available at https://anupsastry.com/ Watch in HD!!! This is a drum play-through for the song titled 'Stygian Blue' by the band Monuments. Its off of their recent release titled 'Phronesis'. Although I'm no longer a part of the band, I was very excited when they approached me about doing the drums for the album. I had a lot of fun working with the group. A lot of the parts were already written prior to me hearing any of the demos. I had some creative input here and there, but majority of the drum parts were already written by the band. I was a session guy more or less in this situation, and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. I'll be uploading a few more play-through videos from this album over the next couple of months. I recently joined the Evans Drumheads artist roster, and I couldn't be more excited. This is the first video I'm putting up with all new drumheads. I can't express the amount of gratitude I have towards Evans for making feel right at home so early in my relationship with them. It really does mean a lot to work with amazing companies, and I really do value my relationships with all of them. Thanks Evans! I've been very busy lately with a lot of session work, and its put a bit of a damper on my ability to shoot video content for Youtube. I can't complain much because I've been fortunate enough to get a lot of work on the drums, but I do plan on trying to be more consistent with video uploads from here on out. On that note, I am available for session work. Please feel free to reach out with an inquiries at AnupSastryDrums@gmail.com. --------------------------------- Here's what I'm using in this video: Tama Starclassic Birch Bubinga in Lacquered White Oyster 10" x 8" Rack Tom 12" x 9" Rack Tom 14" x 14" Floor Tom (Left) 16" x 14" Floor Tom (Right) 22" x 16" Kick Drum 14" x 6" Maple Starphonic Snare Meinl Cymbals (from left to right): 18" Classics Custom Dark Crash 15" Pure Alloy Hi- Hats 18" Byzance Traditional Medium Crash 8" Benny Greb Signature Crasher Hats 20" Pure Alloy Ride 19" Byzance Brilliant Medium Crash 16" Mb10 Medium Crash and 18" Byzance Traditional China (Stack) 18" Classics Custom Extreme Metal China Evans Drumheads: Heavyweight Snare Batter 300 Snare Side G2 Clear Tom Batter G1 Clear Tom Resonant EQ4 Frosted Kick Batter I'm using Vic Firth Metal's.
