Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail Thru-Hike Day 6: 9/22/26 Follow me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... So here's an update as to what is going on. The trail is absolutely amazing. The constant rain is not. I've only had one nice day on this trail, weather wise. Yesterday morning was nice but about 1 o'clock it started to rain and it has not stopped. Unfortunately, the rain is not going to stop at all and because my feet are constantly wet and my boots aren't drying the skin is literally peeling off the bottom of my foot and I'm in a lot of pain. I'm concerned about getting trench foot. As hard as a decision as this has been I have to get off the trail. I'm still gonna be out here for a few more days. We were able to change our reservation to the Falling Water House until Thursday.
