The Week That Was: Marathon Cheats, Muppets & Musical Meltdowns

This week? Taylor Swift has been BLOCKED on Spotify, a marathon runner has allegedly taken a shortcut on a bicycle, and somehow we've ended up discussing which Muppet best represents your birth chart. Kate and Tansy are back for another The Week That Was, covering Taylor Swift's latest music, the serious domestic violence charges against former Bachelor star Sam Wood, a fitness influencer's spectacular marathon cheating scandal, and the surprisingly important relationship between astrology and The Muppets. First up: has the tide finally turned on Taylor Swift? Tansy has officially blocked her on Spotify, some Swifties aren't loving the new music, and the girls ask whether Taylor's audience is growing up faster than her songwriting. Also, a gentle reminder that your favourite celebrity does not know who the fuck you are. Then, former Bachelor star Sam Wood faces serious domestic violence charges, which he intends to defend. Kate and Tansy discuss the allegations, the public response and the exhaustion of watching men who have built careers around women become the subject of headlines like these. Plus, a fitness influencer allegedly decided that running the Berlin Marathon would be considerably easier on the back of a bicycle. A personal best, a disqualification and a lost sponsorship later, Kate and Tansy have several questions. Mainly: who was hiding the fucking bike? And finally, Tansy introduces perhaps the most important astrological exercise of our time: if your Sun, Moon and Rising signs were Muppets, which Muppets would they be? Kate is Miss Piggy, obviously. Tansy might be Animal. Nobody is particularly surprised. It's pop culture. It's scandal. It's unsolicited opinions. It's The Week That Was. Watch now and tell us: which Muppet is your star sign? #TheWeekThatWas #TheBluntAndTheBeautiful #TaylorSwift #SamWood #TheBachelorAU #BerlinMarathon #PopCulture #CelebrityNews #KateForster #TansyGorman
