Have a look at the New standard active safety features on the new BMW Neue Klasse cars. 00:00 Front Collision Avoidance 01:43 Side Collision Avoidance 03:03 Rear Collision Avoidance 03:54 Driving Scenes BMW expands standard active safety technology with the Neue Klasse, introducing active door protection, emergency steering, smarter parking assistance and the powerful new Automated Driving Superbrain. BMW is taking active safety technology to a new level with the Neue Klasse, introducing an expanded range of intelligent driver-assistance features as standard across multiple future BMW model lines. The new BMW iX3 is the first Neue Klasse production model to receive the technology, with the BMW i3, BMW X5 and BMW 7 Series set to follow. BMW Introduces Active Door Opening Protection One of the standout features is BMW's enhanced Exit Warning system, designed to help prevent dangerous "dooring" accidents involving cyclists and other road users. Using side radar sensors, the vehicle detects approaching traffic when parked. If a potential collision is identified, the electronic door lock can temporarily delay the door from opening until the danger has passed. BMW is also expanding its emergency assistance technology with systems capable of automatically steering around obstacles, helping avoid side-impact collisions and applying emergency braking with evasive steering support. Parking protection has also been upgraded. Active Park Distance Control can now automatically brake for obstacles detected not only behind the vehicle but also at its sides. New BMW “Superbrain” Brings 20x More Computing Power At the heart of the Neue Klasse safety technology is BMW's new “Superbrain of Automated Driving”, a high-performance central computer responsible for active safety, automated driving and parking functions. According to BMW, the new computer delivers approximately 20 times more computing power than the previous generation. Combined with BMW Symbiotic Drive, BMW Panoramic Vision and Operating System X, the technology is designed to understand driver intentions and intervene only when assistance is genuinely required. With the Neue Klasse, BMW is not only reinventing its electric vehicles but also making advanced active safety and intelligent driver assistance a central part of its next generation of cars. #bmw #safety #recanything #novo #recn
