🥀 To my mother Fawzia, you were the light of my heart and the peace of my soul; I will carry your longing as long as I live. Fawzia has gone, and the soul is broken, and the home has become desolate and captive. I weep for the longing and your lost voice, and life after you is humiliation and estrangement. The days have demanded solitude from me, and pains have gathered in my heart. O mother of my heart, you have left a longing, and left my eye to struggle with moaning. I shed tears and carry the torment, and I see your phantom in dreams as a mirage. O Fawzia, you who were my light, the sorrow has increased and my patience has diminished. Sleep there and accept peace, for life after you has become ruins for me. My long night has lengthened after you, and I remain alone, hoping for departure.
