Amazing KONE High-Speed Traction Elevators/Lifts at Radisson BLU Tallinn Hotel, Tallinn, Estonia

There are 3 lifts in the lift hall, and probably 2 staff lifts (behind the scenes). There are 25 floors in this hotel (+ 1 basement floor) - making a total of 26. The height of the building is 103 meters, and the observation deck is located 90 meters above sea level. It takes 25 seconds to go from the 1st floor to the 24th floor; that means, the average speed is about 3,6 m/s - so these are actually a bit faster than the lifts at the Swissotel! They may be the fastest lifts in Tallinn. The hotel was constructed between 1999-2001, and opened in 2001. Next time I go to Estonia, I will most certainly choose this hotel (if the price is right!). The Conference and banquet rooms are located on the 2nd floor. On the 24th floor, you'll find an observation deck (90,0 m above sea level). There hotel rooms are located on floors 7-22.
