Call of Duty Needs a Classic Mode

What if Call of Duty didn't have to choose between modern movement and classic gameplay? The recent success of the Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 ports, the popularity of the Classic playlist in Black Ops 7, and the ongoing discussion around a more traditional experience in Modern Warfare 4 have made me wonder if Classic Mode should become a permanent part of Call of Duty. Instead of replacing modern Call of Duty, what if Activision simply gave us both? In this video, I break down why classic gameplay still has an audience, what the community thinks about slower and more traditional Call of Duty, whether a permanent Classic playlist would split the playerbase, and why I think this could be one of the best ways for Call of Duty to appeal to different types of players.
