野生のベビーラッコ、母のそばでひと休み｜A Wild Sea Otter Pup Resting Beside Its Mother 【4K】

In the coastal waters of eastern Hokkaido, Japan, I encountered a wild sea otter mother and her pup resting close together. This 5-minute 26-second film quietly follows the pair as they rest and move together near the rocky shore. Watch for the pup's face appearing beside its mother and the subtle changes in distance between them. There is no narration or behavioral captioning. To reduce boat movement and handheld shake, selected moments are shown at 50% speed. The soundtrack preserves waves, seabirds, and the pup's small calls recorded in the field, gently mixed with “Until the End” by Aerian. Wind and boat noise have been reduced so the mother-and-pup encounter remains the focus. I'm Shin Okamoto, a wildlife photographer. One of my photographs was featured in a year-long exhibition at the Smithsonian in the United States. On REWILD JAPAN, I share wildlife films I have shot across Japan.
