How to Re-purpose a Brita into an Aquaponics System

This tutorial is intended to help you build your own aquaponics system. You don't have to use a Brita dispenser. Really any water tight container could work. It's just that a Brita or any similar water filtration dispenser already has an upper and lower reservoir area that makes it well suited to be re-purposed into an aquaponics system. I highly encourage you to re-purpose things because throwing old items out will just add to landfills.
