皆さん、こんばんは☺︎ いつもありがとうございます♪ 今回は、だいぶ前になりますが、オーストラリアにいた頃に歌っていたバーのオーナーからのリクエスト『ライラックワイン』という曲をカバーしてみました･:*+. その時バーで歌うことが出来なかったので、youtubeにUPしようと最近思い出し、チャレンジしてみました！ 私のyoutubeを聴いてくれているかも定かではありませんが、皆さんも聴いてくださると嬉しいです✨ 同じJeff Buckleyさんによっても歌われている"Hallelujah"という曲を当時バーで歌っていたのもあり、彼が歌うこの"Lilac Wine"も聴きたいとリクエストを頂いたのです☺︎ 日本語和訳も付けたので、是非右上のCCをONにして和訳付きでお聴きください♪ ⭐️『ライラック・ワイン』⭐️ 1950年のブロードウェイ・ミュージカル『ダンス・ミー・ア・ソング』のためにジェームズ・シェルトン（作詞作曲）が作曲した楽曲です。 劇中ではホープ・フォイが歌いましたが、（ショーが成功しなかったため）キャストによる録音は行われなかったようです。 様々なアーティストによってカバーされており、ジェフ・バックリーさんは1994年にリリースしたアルバムの中の一曲として収録されています。 彼のバージョンは2006年のフランス映画『Tell No One』のBGMとしても使用されています。 この曲の着想は、ロナルド・ファーバンクの1925年の小説『陽光の中の悲しみ』の一節に由来しているようです。 ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ Good evening, everyone☺︎ Thank you as always♪ This time, I tried to cover the song "Lilac Wine" requested by the owner of the bar that I was singing when I was in Australia.:*+. I'm not sure if he listening to my youtube, but I'd be happy if everyone listen to it too✨ I was singing the song "Hallelujah" sung by Jeff Buckley at the time, so he requested this "Lilac Wine" as well ☺︎ ⭐️"Lilac Wine"⭐️ This song was composed by James Shelton (lyricist and composer) for the 1950 Broadway musical "Dance Me a Song". Hope Foye sang in the play, but it seems that the cast did not record (because the show was not successful). It is covered by various artists. And Jeff Buckley's version is in his album released in 1994. His version is also used as the background music for the 2006 French film "Tell No One". The idea of this song seems to come from a passage from Ronald Firbank's 1925 novel "Sorrow in Sunlight".
