Has AT-PAC Fixed Two of Scaffolding’s Biggest Headaches? | Raised Ledger + Scaffix Roof

In this episode of The Scaffolding Industry Podcast, I sit down with Matt Johnson from AT-PAC to talk about two of the products that generated plenty of interest at ScaffEx 2026 — the AT-PAC Raised Ledger System and the Scaffix temporary roof system. Both are aimed at solving very different problems scaffolders deal with every day. One tackles the working platform. The other tackles the weather. And both raise an interesting question: How much of what we accept in scaffolding is simply because that’s how we’ve always done it? AT-PAC RAISED LEDGER SYSTEM One of the main talking points was the Raised Ledger System. Designed to integrate with AT-PAC Ringlock scaffolding, the system raises the ledger by 200mm to clear the normal protrusions created by standards and wedge connections. That creates a flush, continuous scaffold working platform with fewer protrusions and trip hazards. The Raised Ledger System also went on to win Product of the Year at the 2026 Scaffolding Excellence Awards. --- SCAFFIX TEMPORARY ROOF SYSTEM The other major subject was Scaffix. AT-PAC demonstrated the Scaffix temporary roof system live at ScaffEx 2026 as part of its wider weather protection and temporary roofing offer. The system is designed to support scaffold contractors working on projects exposed to rain, wind, snow and poor weather.
