Riad Voices | Moroccan Downtempo & Organic Electronica

Riad Voices is an intimate Moroccan downtempo track inspired by a moonlit riad courtyard in Marrakech. A restrained female Darija vocal floats over oud, bendir, Rhodes, hand percussion and warm electronic bass, with long instrumental passages that leave space for the groove to breathe. Subtle dub-style vocal delay and a short scratch accent give the track a contemporary electronic edge while keeping the Moroccan character at the center. For listeners who enjoy Moroccan downtempo, organic electronica, North African electronic music, desert lounge, world electronica and atmospheric late-night music.
