The process of forming a new government is underway in Israel. President Isaac Herzog has begun two days of consultations with party leaders to determine who should be tasked with forming the next government. These discussions commenced on Wednesday at the President’s residence in Jerusalem. He will hold individual meetings with representatives from all parties that secured seats in parliament to hear their recommendations on who should be entrusted with the task of forming a government. In the fiercely contested election held on October 27, no coalition managed to reach the 61-seat threshold—the "magic figure" required for a majority. Consequently, the formation of a new government is likely to involve weeks of protracted negotiations. Jamuna Television, also known as Jamuna TV, is a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel in Bangladesh.
