Spirit - Bright Eyes (Watership Down)

I haven't made anything in so long... Sorry! I had no school today, so I finally had time to edit. Dedication: This was made in memory of horsesmakelifefull's horse, who recently died of colic and an old racing injury. Let this serve as a reminder to us all to love our horses while we still have them, since anything could happen to them at any moment. About the video: This song proved to be really hard to edit with. I sort of knew going in, but I didn't realize just HOW hard it would be. First, the emotion of the song changes abruptly and extremely, which makes clip matching nearly impossible. Second, the song's meaning is complicated and hard to show with just a kid's movie. For crying out loud, it's talking about the mystery of death and the devastation that it leaves in its wake. How do you show that with an animated movie about ponies?! Let's just say that I never would have attempted this a year ago. And I guess that's what makes this video special. I stepped way out of my comfort zone and, in my opinion, it worked. I love how this turned out. It's simple, but I think that's just how it should be. And, of course, it's widescreen!! I'm so excited about that, you don't even know.
