Sonic Eraser's Wrong Notes

In all seriousness, I truly believe Sonic Eraser's composer was onto something when he wrote the versus mode theme. Sure, when you're meticulously working to program music designed for a fourth-generation game console using a computer that's now several decades old, it's not exactly a walk in the park, but if it wasn't secretly a banger, how did Tee Lopes manage to prove that it was? We joke about the "frying pan" sounds, but I don't doubt I'd encounter many of the same frustrations writing my own Sega Genesis music, under oppressive deadlines typical of the gaming industry, without access to fancy chiptune trackers we're spoiled by today.
