Data to Growth: Measuring and Telling Your Impact Story | Powering Progress Dialogue 2

Global renewable energy employment reached a record 16.6 million jobs in 2024, proof of how closely clean energy, livelihoods, and economic opportunity are now linked. But for the enterprises driving that growth, the data they already collect is often the most underused evidence of their own impact. This is Dialogue 2 of Powering Progress: Global Dialogues Series, co-hosted by CEEW and CLEAN. This session moves beyond data as a reporting obligation and shows clean-tech enterprises how to turn it into a compelling growth story — identifying the "so what" behind the numbers and translating evidence into narratives that resonate with funders, policymakers, and implementation teams. 📅 Recorded 30 September 2026 THE SESSION COVERS Why good reporting matters — for funding, renewals, policy traction, and internal decisions Selecting 3–5 meaningful metrics and framing each one around a clear problem–intervention–evidence–outcome narrative A worked example of turning a raw dataset into a short, audience-specific story A practical Data-to-Story Canvas exercise for enterprises to apply to their own metrics AGENDA Welcome and context setting — Divya Gaur, Programme Lead, CEEW Strengthening Data Collection & Impact Storytelling in Clean Tech Enterprises — facilitated by Debleena Majumdar, Co-founder, Stotio Moderated Q&A — Sreejith Narayan, CLEAN Key takeaways and closing remarks — Priyatam Yasaswi, Programme Associate, CEEW Emcee: Vidya Sagapam, CLEAN This is the second session in the Powering Progress series.
