Girlypop SMP - Day 80 - Building a Small Medieval House

Today’s plan on the Girlypop SMP was simple: build a SMALL medieval house. That’s it. A SMALL HOUSE. How hard could that possibly be? 😭 Well… apparently VERY hard. First, I realized my little house was a little too close to another house, so the walls had to MOVE. Okay, fine. Minor setback. Then I ran out of the materials I needed, which meant construction had to stop while I went shopping… Minecraft style. 😂 But then came THE ROOF. Now listen. I’ve built enough medieval roofs on this server that I really thought I could just wing it. No tutorial. No reference picture. Just pure Minecraft architectural instinct. That confidence was misplaced. 🤣 I spent WAAAAY too much time placing blocks, staring at the roof, breaking blocks, placing them again, staring some more, questioning my life choices…and probably wondering why I didn’t just build a square box with a flat roof. BUT I DID IT! 🙌🏾 The roof is DONE and I finally got the shape I wanted! There’s just one tiny problem… I don’t like the blocks I picked. 😑 So yes, after ALL THAT, I’m going to modify the house AGAIN. And did I mention we only have 9 DAYS LEFT on the Girlypop SMP?! There is NO TIME for this foolishness! 😂 At this point, I need to stop experimenting, stop changing my mind, stop “winging it” and START BUILDING!
