NG Sabers Steampunk Modified ID7

Here we have a very unique Steampunk themed Inspira Designs ID7 saber etched, powder coated, and modified by Nick Greenland of NG Sabers. The client wanted a fully removable chassis since watching Bryan Lynn's video late last year, so he was kind enough to send me his Fusion360 design file. I used it to re-draft the chassis to fit my components (speaker, battery tabs, etc.) as well as some additional blinkies I wanted to add. I stayed true to Bryan's overall concept, but added a few touches of my own. But, more importantly, I asked for his help to laser engrave the battery and board cover plates with artwork I made to match Nick Greenland's steampunk aesthetic. I sent him the artwork with multiple layers in mind that would use the different laser power settings to get different colors out of the brass, including copper and black.
