How to Raise Ducks for Eggs & Meat 🦆 | Feeding Ducks & Harvesting Fresh Duck Eggs

Welcome to STILLROOT 🌿 Spend a peaceful day on a beautiful countryside duck homestead, caring for ducks raised for fresh eggs and small-scale farm production. The morning begins beside a clear spring-fed duck pond surrounded by green pasture, wildflowers, a rustic farmhouse, a wooden bridge and a traditional duck house. The adult duck flock is given fresh balanced feed, clean drinking water and mineral grit before the morning egg harvest begins. Fresh duck eggs are carefully collected by hand from clean straw-lined nesting boxes, placed into a traditional wicker basket and carried back to the farmhouse. The nesting area is refreshed with clean straw to keep the duck house comfortable and tidy. A separate group of young ducks is also cared for in a spacious grow-out area with proper feed, fresh greens, clean water, shade and secure shelter. Later, some of the freshly collected duck eggs are prepared into a simple rustic countryside breakfast with chives, toasted country bread, tomatoes and warm tea. As the afternoon continues, feeders and water troughs are cleaned, the ducks receive fresh water and the flock peacefully returns to the pond. The day ends with the ducks settling near their shelter while warm golden-hour light falls across the pond, farmhouse and surrounding countryside. No talking. No narration. No voice-over. Only relaxing natural sounds — ducks quacking, pond water, birds, feeding sounds, fresh water, straw, crackling fire and peaceful countryside ambience.
