Test. Lunch in Ames, Iowa. Visiting all ninety-nine Iowa County seats.

We're testing the waters with blogging. Using an iPhone 14 for now and keeping it simple. We'll build as we go if it seems to be working for us. We've been retired for several years (in our late 60's) and have been in Iowa for a little over a year. We currently live in a rural town in the heart of Iowa (800 population). We were previously in Orlando, Florida for twenty years. It's time for a hobby to help us enjoy and pass our remaining years in Iowa, so the plan is to visit all ninety-nine county seats in Iowa. We may start this fall before winter as time allows, but mostly, we'll start out in the spring of 2027.
