Praga Evolution (1907 - 2021) ►Praga is a historic Czech manufacturer with roots in Prague, known for producing cars, trucks, motorcycles, and later high-performance racing machines. Praga was founded in 1907 and initially built automobiles under license before developing its own vehicles. During the early 20th century, Praga became one of Czechoslovakia's important vehicle manufacturers, producing cars such as the Praga Piccolo, Alfa, and Lady. The company also became heavily involved in trucks and military vehicles, which became an important part of its business. After World War II, Praga focused increasingly on commercial and specialized vehicles rather than passenger cars. The original automobile production eventually ended, but the Praga name survived. In the 21st century, the company returned to the performance-car world with lightweight racing and road cars. The Praga R1 became particularly well known as a lightweight track-focused sports car. More recently, Praga introduced the Bohema, an extremely lightweight road-legal hypercar designed with strong racing-car influences.
