25 Oct 2025 - De Rust

We left George under cloudy skies and headed inland. Breakfast was at Holgate Farmstall, followed by a very pleasant coffee at the Karoo Emporium in Oudtshoorn. Lunch was at Doornkraal Farmstall where we enjoyed chicken and lamb pies, then a quick stop in Meiringspoort. On the way back toward De Rust we hit some rain and hunted a pub with a fireplace to dry off and relax.
