Toccata Pianist: Antonia De Pasquale Selected as the sole Italian pianist for the prestigious 2026 Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival (RPPF) at the University of South Florida, Antonia De Pasquale is an artist of extraordinary depth, virtuosity, and musical intelligence. Decorated with top honors in over 40 competitions worldwide, her defining accolades include Absolute First Prize at the 2025 Trebinje Classic Competition, First Prize at the 2025 "Città di Alessandria" Piano Competition, First Prize and the Contemporary Music Special Prize at the 2024 "Lavaux Classic" Competition in Switzerland for her best performance of the set contemporary piece by composer Ezko Kikoutchi, First Prize with the "Harmonia in Music Chapel" Award at the 2024 Esperia Competition, and Second Prize in the Contemporary Music Section at the Giulio Rospigliosi Competition in 2026. A compelling presence on the global stage, she captivates audiences with her lyrical nuance, commanding technique, and brilliant interpretation. Her concert career has brought her to world-renowned halls and cultural capitals across Europe and the United States—including iconic venues such as St James's Piccadilly in London, as well as historic halls in Vienna such as the Mozarthaus and the Ehrbar Saal. Complementing her live performances, her discography and scholarship highlight a deep artistic curiosity: she authored the monograph Il suono del muro.
