Clan Wars 2026 was a competitive Gears of War montage tournament hosted by GMH. Seven teams competed this year: Vulkan, Essence, HvNz, Devote, Emerge, Avity, and DeNy. This year’s Clan Wars followed a single-round, winner-takes-all bracket format. Teams were given eight weeks to collect clips and ten weeks to edit their videos, with rosters capped at twelve players per team. All clips were graded by Kaos PzYcho, while all edits were judged by Liam (FlaminSnowConez). There was no limit on clip scores; however, videos could not exceed six minutes and thirty seconds in length. Edits were eligible for an additional five bonus points on top of the clip score. In total, the competition brought together 84 players, 10 editors, 5 staff members, and 2 GFX artists, over 100 participants battling it out in a high-stakes montage tournament in 2026. Who knows how the hell we got here, but I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
