If you’re planning your first trip to Whistler Bike Park, it can feel a little confusing at first. From learning how to load your bike onto the lifts to understanding how the gondolas work and where to wash your bike, there are a few practical things that make the experience much easier once you know them.
In this video I walk through the basics of how Whistler Bike Park works for mountain bikers, including using the lifts, gondolas, trail grading in Canada and where you can store or clean your bike during your trip.
Whistler is one of the most famous mountain bike destinations in the world, and once you understand how everything works it becomes an incredible place to ride.
I’ve spent time riding and travelling with my bike, so this guide is designed to help first-time visitors feel more confident when arriving at the park.
This is Part 1 of my Whistler guide.
Part 2 will cover the best places to eat, coffee stops and restaurants in Whistler after riding.
If you have any questions about Whistler Bike Park, leave them in the comments and I’ll try to help.
