My impressions after first contact and later after playing all basses: Rickenbacker: first impression - odd & strange / later impression - very usable and interesting although very heavy, kind of cool but tricky setup Musicmaster: first impression - small & fun / later impression - motown sound, Pbass wanna be, some would say one trick pony Sire: first impression - heavy bass & comfy neck / later impression - versatile sound, cheap pots, still very heavy Warwick: first impression - ultra light & balanced / later impression - jazzy sound, easy setup, love it!
