What the water never Told me.

THE THINGS THE WATER NEVER TOLD ME Oom Stukkie | A Story Told in Darkness “The water never told me a single secret. But it taught me how to listen.” Some stories aren’t meant to entertain you. They’re meant to find the quiet places inside you that you’ve forgotten how to visit. The Things the Water Never Told Me is a deeply reflective spoken-word story about an old man, an ordinary lake, and a lesson that takes a lifetime to understand. Through the hypnotic, resonant sounds of the handpan, the mysterious whispers of the waterphone, and the intimate storytelling voice of Oom Stukkie, we explore the things we spend our lives running from. Regret. Lost dreams. Unspoken words. The people we wish we’d held a little longer. And the beautiful, uncomfortable truth that sometimes silence is exactly what we need. This isn’t a conventional song. There is no chorus, no grand finale, and no easy answer. Just a story. And perhaps a little piece of yourself waiting somewhere inside it. 🎧 Best experienced with headphones, somewhere quiet.
