Two Years After Hurricane Helene: The Story of Avery Dental

Two years ago, Hurricane Helene devastated communities across Western North Carolina. At our Avery Dental clinic, floodwaters reached nearly four feet, destroying everything inside and leaving the building in need of extensive repairs. Earlier this year, after 18 months of recovery, we celebrated the clinic’s grand reopening. As we mark two years since Helene, we’re looking back at that day and how far our team and community have come. There is still recovery happening across our region, and we remain grateful to be here, caring for the communities we call home.
