Close Combat :LSA GJS11 mod vs Loki 032 Benouville

12/12 Panzers take on Allied Recon column merged with armor. We wanted to try to hold Pegasus to maintain control of both sides. Everyone else was setup to stall a likely attack from the north. Enemy went almost full force from the north. Our Grille did not seek cover from a breaching Sherman and was lost early, really compromising the North. Their infantry swarmed the rest of our teams there forcing everyone to displace constantly. Dropped mortar and artillery barrages to try to slow them while we scrambled teams. MG42s were especially nasty to their advancing troops. Our Marder immobed itself trying to move north and was out of the fight. Our North ATG killed a stuart at onset but was eventually zeroed by a light mortar about halfway through. An infantry immobilized and then fausted a Sherman racing for Lebisey at the end. Tough fight. Great attack by the enemy. Follow along at   / discord   Don't forget to join us at the Close Combat Series Discord!
