HP 8642A Signal Generator 1050MHz repair teardown

a huge ultra heawy super performer signal generator 32.7kg !! this is my number 48 Hewlett Packard video :-) had the idea it was a power supply problem, but it was overload, the problem went away after each module was powered alone, must be a shorted tantalium or cheramic somewhere, it is close to impossible to find that part, since it is open circuit now and the unit works again. -- #teardown #hewlettpackard #vintage -- I use auto generated subs, I go thru them my self, but i am far from perfect at finding all errors, so if you find errors worth fixing, please comment (or PM) with the TIME in the video you saw the error, i will be happy to fix it.
